Irony City

Irony City is a close-knit crew who have been improvising together since 2006. When performing, they are playful with each other, playful with space, and playful with scene and narrative structure. They delight in surprising each other and audiences monthly at Arcade Comedy Theater and with one-off creations such as the Irony City Holiday Reunion Spectacular!, Improvised Musical Fairy Tale at the Pittsburgh Children’s Museum, and Play It By Ear: An Improvised Play. They have been featured at the Phoenix Improv Festival, Detroit Improv Festival, Baltimore Improv Festival, and 2nd Best Fest (Reston, VA).

Iguanatron

"One of Pittsburgh's favorite two-person groups, Iguanatron is a fun, imaginative show." -Kristy Nolen, co-founder, Arcade Comedy Theater Iguanatron is long-time friends, performers and teachers Brian Gray and Greg Gillotti. Their show is bold, playful, and unpredictable, representing what Brian and Greg love most about improvisation: entering a blank stage and discovering stories together. Since 2006, they have played together on notable Pittsburgh improv teams such as Irony City, The Writer's Room and The Death Show. They were featured teachers and performers at the Improv Wins Conference in Austin and have performed at festivals in Philadelphia, Detroit and Phoenix. Brian and Greg also created two written shows: Wheel of Bits (2016) and Dr. Iguanatron's Medicine Show (2019), and produced Iguanatron and Friends from 2016-2019.
