Fell in love with short-form improv as a kid in LA in the 90’s while taking time off of school to watch Marx Brothers on VHS. Moved to Chicago in the late aughts to work weird jobs, study long form at iO and Annoyance, and watch every clip of Elaine May ever uploaded to the internet. Moved to Pittsburgh in 2016 and since have been delighted to collaborate on sketch projects, play on indie and house teams and start coaching. Currently play with Well Known Strangers and write mini Shakespeare parodies about Pittsburgh restaurants.

I've been in Pittsburgh for 3 years, Ithaca NY before that, Philly originally. Taught longform levels 1-2 at Philly Improv Theater, advanced longform at Ithaca Improv, Levels 4 & 5 at Steel City Improv Theater, and now teach longform, physical theater & clown classes independently out of the Glitterbox Theater in Homestead. I've performed at festivals all around North America with my team from Philly, The Future. I work professionally as a leadership and team coach and facilitator specializing in collaboration skills and applied improvisation.

I started improvising in 2002 in undergrad with CMU’s No Parking Players. After graduating I (mistakenly) thought there was no real scene in Pittsburgh, and a friend and I held auditions for what would become Irony City (still going strong 20 years later!). Since then, I have been on house teams, indie teams, wrote and performed in original sketch/concept shows, directed long and short form concept shows, coached house teams, indie teams and duos, did a (very) small tour, and co-created the Pittsburgh Comedy Festival. I also taught curriculum classes at SCIT and then Arcade, and created and taught a number of original courses and workshops including Arcade’s Pop-Up Night for beginners, Duo Improv, and Mx Performance. I am always working to make Pittsburgh a comedy scene where performers and producers at all stages can level-up.

I'm Pittsburgh based improviser, creator, and artist. My better half and I are The Butch and The Bi and I have been doing improv since 2017. I was very active in the scene up until lockdown, which shifted my focus to online creation and digital art but I still love doing live comedy! I'd love to join a team and perform more regularly again (or have our long running duo make an appearance).
